On this program of Torah On Location – A Hebraic Look at the Meaning of Unleavened Bread PART 1 – we are going to study one important aspect of the festival. We will seek an answer to the age-old question, “WHY do we eat only Unleavened Bread during the Passover season?” Aside from the fact that it is a Divine Command and we should of course, be obedient to all Divine commandments, there are nonetheless a number of spiritual reasons as to WHY we follow this practice every year. The spiritual ramifications are huge for each of us that would so desire to have a spiritual connection to the “People of the Book” – ISRAEL!
On this program we will look deeper into Yochanan (John) 6:53-57 and seek to understand the wisdom of the “VAV MAN” in the Divine Name Yud-Heh-Waw-Heh – YHWH or YHVH.
Come along on our half-hour journey today into examining the festival of Unleavened Bread and learn at least one reason (among many, I am sure) WHY we observe this important principle; that we are NOT to eat anything leavened during the seven days of Passover and Unleavened Bread. A Hebraic Look at the Meaning of Unleavened Bread PART 1, coming up!
