With this Torah On Location lesson – PART 2 Climbing Mount Nebo, we continue with our look into D’varim (Deuteronomy) 34:5-6.

This biblical narrative describes the closing days and teachings of Moshe. This event happened here at Mount Nebo (Har Nevo). What you may not know (and you will learn in this lesson) is the depth of meaning in the Divine Name Y-H-W-H and the Name’s connection to Mount Nebo and to the Divine calling that belonged to Moses, the Prophets of ancient days, and to Yeshua HaMashiach. All of this will help our understanding of the Brit haChadasha Book of Matthew Chapter 16 – “…and on this Rock I will build my Kehilah.” In this episode -Part 2 -and continuing into Part 3, we will have a look at the strong possibility that this mountain was the chosen mountain for Yeshua’s transfiguration as recorded in Luke 9.
