The festival or feast of Unleavened Bread. It is a core teaching of Hebraic life and theology according to Exodus 12:15, Exodus 13:3 and a host of many other passages within Hebrew scripture. Physically, it is a seven-day period of eating NO mixture of dough that has been subjected to the effects of yeast and what it does to bread. Spiritually, there are numerous reasons for this.

On this program of Torah On Location – A Hebraic Look at the Meaning of Unleavened Bread PART 1 – we are going to study one important aspect of the festival. We will seek an answer to the age-old question, “WHY do we eat only Unleavened Bread during the Passover season?” Aside from the fact that it is a Divine Command and we should of course, be obedient to all Divine commandments, there are nonetheless a number of spiritual reasons as to WHY we follow this practice every year. The spiritual ramifications are huge for each of us that would so desire to have a spiritual connection to the “People of the Book” – ISRAEL!

On this program we will look deeper into Yochanan (John) 6:53-57 and seek to understand the wisdom of the “VAV MAN” in the Divine Name Yud-Heh-Waw-Heh – YHWH or YHVH.
